    1. Title of the Practice: Scholarship to the Toppers
    2. Objectives of the Practice: Scholarship is offered to the students getting top ranks in University exams. This motivates all the students of the Institute to perform well in academics.
    3. The Context: Being a self financed institute, it becomes difficult to offer such scholarships when the number of achievers is greater than a certain number. In spite of that we offer consolation price to boost up the moral of the worthy students.
    4. The Practice: Since the inception of the Institute the Scholarship scheme has played an important role in the motivation of the students. Students put in extra efforts in academics with a view to attain the Scholarship; this improves their learning capacity and the final results.
    5. Evidence of Success: Our institute has always been producing an excellent result in all the semesters. This motivational scheme is also an important factor in achieving good results.
    6. Problems Encountered and Resources Required: As a self financed institute, it becomes difficult to offer such scholarships when more number of students qualifies for it. In this case the management provides more fund for the same.



    1. Title of the Practice: Appreciation to Teaching & Non-teaching Staff for extraordinary performance.
    2. Objectives of the Practice: To motivate all the faculty members and administrative staff members to give their best and perform well in academics and administrative functions.
    3. The Context: Based on the monthly performance report of faculty and staff members, one best performer from each is identified by the Director and due appreciation is given.
    4. The Practice: Since the inception of the Institute this appreciation policy has played an important role in the motivation of the Faculty and Staff members. They put in extra efforts and diligence in academics with the view to attain the reward. This also improves their working capacity and finally achieves the goal.
    5. Evidence of Success: Our institute has always appreciated the efforts of the faculty and staff members for producing an excellent result in all the semesters. This motivational scheme is also an important factor in achieving good results.
    6. Problems Encountered and Resources Required: The faculty and staff members who do not receive the appreciation from the Institute are counseled by our senior staff members so that they do not feel demoralized and improve their performance.

In promoting use of renewable sources of energy, solar powered water heater has been installed in the institute hostels. In this drive of conservation of energy, we have put in efforts like energy star certified models of ACs which uses 15% less energy.

We also promote purchasing of other energy efficient equipments like LCD/LED computer monitors, LED bulbs etc. We also promote our faculty and staff to minimize the use of Fossil fuels by pooling of vehicles and using bicycles.

Extensive plantation drives are being carried out with students at the helm of affairs so that they also gain an insight about the importance of trees to fight against global warming and climate change.

We have water harvesting systems installed in all the buildings to promote conservation of water which is essential to sustain life on earth.
