Department of Computer Science & Engineering
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) is one of the six departments at Corporate Institute of Science and Technology, Bhopal. It administers bachelor's program in Computer Science Engineering which leads to award of B.Tech. Degree by RGPV University. It is operating since past 14 years with an intake of 60 seats. It provides a comprehensive B.Tech. program that emphasizes on Data Structures and Algorithms, Operating Systems, Database Management Systems, Computer Architecture, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Networks, Neural Networks, Information Security and high end technologies like Distributed systems, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Image Processing and IOT.

CSE department's many strengths include its high faculty-to-student ratio, well educated faculties having post graduate degrees from renowned institutes, well equipped laboratories. It provides good theoretical foundations with hands on exposure to practical tools with emphasis on leadership, service, and ethics.
Students in CSE Dept. are heavily involved in learning programming languages and developing their own projects. Industrial visits and expert lectures are conducted to ensure that students get proper mentorship from industry experts. Faculty and students often collaborate on projects for participation in National level competitions. Our students have several times brought laurels to the Department by winning in State/National level events.
Graduates from the CSE department are mostly recruited by Software Companies whereas few students take up careers in finance sector, start up companies, Banking sector, and public sector services. Some of our top undergraduates each year enter the MTech program in Computer Science and Engineering in other leading universities around the country.

State Level Athletics: 2019

Laboratory Facilities:
CSE Department has 4 different computer labs with total of 240 Computer Systems. The laboratories are well equipped with all required Software and Hardware components and Networking Devices. The labs are mostly utilized for conducting lab sessions, Project Development, and conducting training sessions for students.
